corruption.

social formula, which shows the factors that
foster corruption, is presented along with
practical solutions to prevent it.

Large-scale construction fraud is analyzed to
show that sound administrative practices are
effective in preventing it. True examples are
presented.

The
three types of bribe payer are presented. The
objective is to show that each type of situation
should be handled in a different way.

Police corruption is addressed with the
objective of showing that internal
investigations alone are not always effective.
Alternative examples are provided.

The
US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act is covered in
detail along with the Convention Against
International Bribery by the Organization for
Economic Cooperation and Development. The
objective is to show that these measures are
inadequate, and methods used to circumvent the
laws are presented.

poll of businessmen’s attitudes in both the US
and Europe toward bribery shows a much different
view than that of law enforcement.

The
final objective is to present the best way to
deal with public corruption, especially foreign
corruption using recently enacted changes to the
US Code.

PA State Board of Accountancy. They can be used
